Rating Razorback Moments By Emojis

Emojis are fun, let’s have some more fun recapping Razorback memories and describing them with an emoji.
😎-The Razorbacks defeat Kentucky on the dunk putback by Michael Qualls! https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=9kpsgBTBBP0
😢: 1998 loss to Tennessee marked the end to Arkansas’ 8-0 start in Houston Nutt’s first season as head coach. We all know how it went. No need to continue to relive the one play in modern Razorback history that kept fans from enjoying their second National Championship.
😡: In 2006, Arkansas led the eventual National Champions, Florida Gators, in the SEC Championship Game. Reggie Fish was about to field a punt for Arkansas to begin a drive that could have helped the Razorbacks seal the deal and win their first SEC Championship. It was not so, as Fish muffed the punt and Arkansas lost their lead and the game slipped away losing 38-28.
🍊: What a sweet day it was upsetting the Oklahoma Sooners in the 1978 Orange Bowl!
😆: Five point lead on North Carolina in the 2017 NCAAT. Oh goodness, how close the Arkansas Razorbacks were to pulling out a hard fought, slobber knocker of a game against the overall number one seed in the tournament. Mike Anderson’s fate would have been sealed and Arkansas fans would have considered the Razorbacks BACK! Okay, it did not happen but man, what if?
🥳: Cobi Hamilton 80 yard touchdown against LSU in 2010 was a fantastic play in a game the Hogs needed to win to get to their first BCS bowl game. Arkansas fans started partying early hoping if they could get through one more half, New Orleans was their destiny. Oh, what a play! https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=Iqa2e8XfhM0
😄: Rohan Gaines pick six versus the Ole Miss Rebels in 2014. This was one of the most exciting plays of the past ten years at Arkansas. As I returned to my seat from the corn dog stand I settled in, took a bite of my corn dog and BOOM, Gaines picked off Rebels quarterback, Bo Wallace for a 100 yard interception return. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=G39O0kiqV_8
🤷‍♂️: “Holy Toledo.” There is not much to be said or given about this game but a shrug of the shoulders. Arkansas was heavy favorites but lost 16-10. On what could have been the game tying touchdown, Brandon Allen overthrew Hunter Henry TWICE in the endzone. The final pass that was intended for Henry but caught by the goalpost.
🤬: The whole 2009 Florida game at “The Swamp”. I have no words. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=og5SO4XUodk
🥶: 2014 versus Alabama. Arkansas ended up losing to the Tide. Leading 13-7 through most of the game and a solid performance by the Razorback defense in the freezing cold rain, the favorite phrase of Bielema could be used here: “We’re close.”
🤮: 2017 vs Coastal Carolina. What probably hammered the final nail in the coffin of Bret Bielema.
😜: Arkansas upsets #1 LSU in Baton Rouge. In the final game in the Razorback coaching career of head coach, Houston Nutt, he was sent out with a BANG by upsetting the top ranked Tigers. Darren McFadden solidified his ticket to the Heisman Ceremony and led the Hogs to their first victory over a number one ranked team since 1981. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=1oTE31QcWMY
😑: 2007 versus Alabama, John Parker Wilson finds Matt Caddell for game winning TD. Early on in what should have been a promising season for the Razorbacks, Alabama mounted an early 21-0 lead, fell behind 38-35 and ultimately won the game on an 8-yard fade route to the endzone for a touchdown. The next week, Arkansas returned home for a date with Kentucky that also resulted in a loss. The Hogs recovered later on in the season but the season could have gone much better.
🤦🏼‍♂️: The dropped foul ball in the 2018 College World Series. Yeah, let’s just come back to this later.
💯: 2006 Ronnie Brewer seals Hog comeback versus Alabama. This is one of my favorite moments on a Tuesday night in Bud Walton Arena. With their NCAA Tournament hopes on hold, Brewer helped Arkansas to a huge and monumental 16-point comeback victory.
🤭: Swine Intervention, I will just leave this here: https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=bbyEGY72V6I
