Former Razorback running back great, Darren McFadden was arrested around in Texas early Monday morning for drunk driving.
The former Razorback was asleep behind the wheel of his 2019 GMC Yukon in the drive-thru at a Whataburger in the Dallas-Fort Worth.
According to reports, the officers said McFadden was resisting arrest. During the stop, it was noticed that McFadden’s driver’s side and passenger windows were also smashed during the incident.
Cops responded to the scene and arrested McFadden. He was taken to a nearby station where he was booked for DWI and resisting arrest. He was released on bond a short time later.
McFadden is Arkansas’ career leading rusher in yards and touchdowns and finished runner-up twice in the Heisman Trophy race. He also spent nine seasons in the NFL playing for Dallas and Oakland.
