Projected 2019 Arkansas Roster Turnover

Disclaimer: Many of the players have yet to announce their plans. I am just going off how I think the dominoes fall.
Alexy Jean-Baptist-Transferred from the team on December 22nd. He was the 41st ranked linebacker in the 2016 class. In 2017, he broke his foot and missed the season which he was never able to bounce back from.
Nate Dalton- Left team after Tulsa game due to a silly penalty. Morris said he dismissed Dalton due to academic reasons.
Kyrei Fisher- With the amount of uncertainty at the linebacker position, I thought he would surely get a look at linebacker. Fisher decided early on in the season he would transfer but has not announced his destination as of yet.
Jarrod Barnes- He caught a pass and looked to be an early contributor for the 2017 squad. Bielema and staff were hoping his couple of snaps in the opening game would still allow them to still preserve his freshman eligibility. That was not so but Coach Morris decided they would redshirt him this season. Whatever it may be, the two parties decided to go their separate ways. Mr. Barnes, good luck in your future.
Cole Kelley- I for one expected Kelley to do great things as the starting quarterback under first year coach, Chad Morris. I definitely swung and missed on that prediction. Kelley is a good kid and a team player. He has a great arm but is not a good fit in the RPO Morris offense.
Daulton Hyatt- He seemed to be the forgotten man in a logjam at quarterback. He received a small amount of playing time against Eastern Illinois but was never heard of again. As many expect, the ninth rated passer in the 2017 class may decide to transfer after the season.
Chevin Calloway- Many fans and media expected Calloway to be another shutdown corner beside Ryan Pulley. No one truly knows what is going on but we can only hope he will have the opportunity to return in 2019. There is one more scholarship left for the taking for next season.
Austin Cantrell- Saturday night during senior introductions, Cantrell was mentioned as one of those graduating. Does that mean Cantrell is moving on after this season? Trey Biddy said on Twitter, “Chad Morris and Austin Cantrell will talk about him returning this offseason, but right now Cantrell is leaning towards moving to the next phase of his life, according to Morris just now. Cantrell, a redshirt junior, walked today on senior night. #wps”
Offensive lineman Dylan Hays, Zach Rogers, Jake Heinrich and Jalen Merrick were all injured before the season but were placed on medical hardship that ended their careers at Arkansas.
McTelvin Agim- Before his collegiate career began, Agim was quoted as saying he would be a three year player then leave for the NFL. He will be on the list of players who could leave at the end of the season but that could change. UPDATE: He still has not announced his departure or return. You can count him in as a returnee.
Scoota Harris- Many thought he would be a four year player until he began his career as a full-time starter in 2017. After that, fans and coaching staff saw the unlimited potential Harris has. He may or may not return for 2019 as he leads the SEC with 105 tackles through 10 games. We should revisit this conversation after the Missouri game and hope for a return his senior season. UPDATE: Will return in 2019.
Ryan Pulley- Known as a shutdown corner, not many opposing receivers are lucky enough to make a play on Pulley. He has great instincts and uses his hands well for leverage and physicality early on to affect each play. Pulley is grading out by scouts to be a top nickelback for the NFL Draft. He is a fourth year junior and if Coach Morris can work his magic, there could be a a magical return for his senior season. UPDATE: Will return in 2019.
Jared Cornelius, Santos Ramirez, Randy Ramsey, Jeremy Patton, Dre Greenlaw, Kevin Richardson, Kendrick Jackson, Brian Wallace, Hjalte Froholdt, Johnny Gibson, Deion Malone, Armon Watts and Michael Taylor are the scholarship players graduating.
Newcomers: *= not committed
The numbers before each name represents a scholarship used. There are 85 scholarships available each season.
1. KJ Jefferson QB 6’3 211 4 ⭐️SIGNED
2. A’Monte Spivey
-Spivey is currently committed to the Razorbacks but recently gained an offer from Ole Miss who is pursuing him very hard. Watch out for two names here that could take his place if he decommits, Current TCU commit, Darwin Barlow, who did not sign in the early signing period. Barlow is a 4 star out of Newton, TX. Three star, Glover Cook, out of Ocala, FL is another guy to watch out for who is not as big as Spivey but could be quicker and is ranked higher.

17. ZachWilliams DE 6’4 235 4 ⭐️SIGNED
-With the decommitment of Carl Williams of Lufkin, TX choosing to stay closer to home, Arkansas may look to replace him with several others who did not sign during the early signing period. Sci Martin, Lakia Henry or both could sign in the traditional signing day in February. Martin is a former LSU Tiger but stayed injured early on in his career. Martin left LSU and headed to East Mississippi Community College. He has said to have the Hogs high on list. Henry was a guest of Scoota Harris when he visited Arkansas back in November. Harris said he, “has never had a player not commit after he hosted them.”
19. Enoch Jackson DT 6’0 290 3 ⭐️SIGNED
20. Tauren Carter DE 6’3 260 3 ⭐️SIGNED
21. Marcus Miller DT 6’5 300 3 ⭐️SIGNED
22. Dante Walker DE
-His scholarship is rumored to be in jeopardy as his academics could be an issue. The Hogs may have backed off of him a lot. Will he decommit soon or work hard to qualify. If he does not, Arkansas could possibly give his scholarship to one of the JUCO linebackers listed above.
23. Zach Zimos LB 6’4 210 3 ⭐️SIGNED
24. Adonis Otey CB 5’11 188 4 ⭐️
25. Malik Chavis DB 6’2 190 3 ⭐️SIGNED
26.  Myles Brooks S 6’1.5 190 3 *
-This is another guy Arkansas may have cooled off on. They may hae had him commit earlier in the summer but may not end up signing him. Catalon does not commit until January 29th. Do the Hogs take both of them or stay with one safety for the class? If they do continue to court a player could these guys look at Arkansas? Chris Russell, a linebacker could take his spot as well. He is a kid who is starting to blow up as a recruit. Arkansas seems to be head to head with Tennessee for him.
